Children need to know they are loved and cared for.
The Bible states that no loving parent would give their child a serpent to eat instead of a fish. It’s inconceivable that a
loving parent would intentionally harm his or her child in any way. At GVKB special care is taken to make sure that
every child we encounter gets the very best care possible. Often times the resources are slow in arriving, but as soon
as supplies arrive, they are distributed and used as directed to minister to one and all equally. No holding back or
squandering is ever acceptable here.
Empowerment through Apprenticeship: Skill Development for Teenage Mothers in Rural Village in Uganda
The "Empowerment through Apprenticeship Project”, proposed by Kingdom Builders Church International,
addresses the prevalent issues of teenage motherhood and mounting early school dropout rates in Luuka
District, Uganda. Over a period of three years, the project will provide skill development opportunities to as
many as 300 teenage mothers. This will enable them to secure sustainable livelihoods and improve their
overall well-being by partnering with local vocational training centers, engage in mentorship programs, which
will hopefully foster community and international support. This project seeks to mitigate the challenges faced
by these vulnerable young mothers.
Luuka District exhibits a disturbingly high prevalence of teenage mothers and an alarming early school
dropout rate. This cycle perpetuates poverty, lack of skills, and social exclusion. These young mothers often
lack education, skills, and emotional support, which in turn hinders their ability to escape the cycle of poverty
and the chance of securing a promising future for themselves and their children.
Objectives
1. To empower 300 teenage mothers in Luuka District with marketable skills through apprenticeship training.
2. To enhance the self-esteem, confidence, and emotional well-being of teenage mothers overall.
3. To reduce the dropout rate among teenage mothers by providing access to alternative education and skills
training.
4. To create a supportive community environment that promotes the acceptance and integration of teenage
mothers into society.

Jesus said, “Your faith has made you whole…”
The only time Jesus couldn’t do anything was when the people had no faith. “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God”. We have to believe that Jesus is
the Son of the Living God or it doesn’t work; anything. Our faith is where the power is. By faith we overcome the strong man and move into victory. By faith we see
healing come about. By faith our weakness is made strong ; only because we believe. That’s what energizes the Holy Spirit to act on our behalf. “Ask and it shall be
given, knock and it shall be opened, seek and you will find.” Faith is the key
