As a mentoring mother/women of God, all I can do is give thanks to the Lord for all the wonderful things ne has done in my life. To be able to pass forward to women who may or may not have had a positive mother in their lives, has been a rewarding and challenging journey. Challenging?? YES, why?? Because during this journey, I am constantly being reminded to look at my own heart and ask if I still contain any past hurts, wounds or bitterness that I need to repent of. Every day is a new day to do a heart check-up! We seek His daily Manna to live by. So I ask. He Lord, “Why me?” To be a mentoring mother gives me such joy, giving back to those in need. There is no explanation of such feelings of elations, except, that’s how the Kingdom works. Pure Joy!!!!!

Family

Family is blood line. The closet, yet the hardest to preach to. “WHY?” They see and know your shortcomings intimately, so the miraculous looks grim. BUT GOD…. Those who intercede for their families, protect them from the snares of the enemy. Mark 10:14 “Let the little children come to Me, do not hinder them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

Women and Friends

Women understand women. In ministry, we speak the same language, while carrying unique and complimentary gifts to each other. Once the language is established, the Holy Spirit can move mountains. Matt. 15:28 “Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith. Your request is granted.” .

… a friend that is closer than a brother

Mentors are friends that go the extra mile and make sure that their friend is alright and making progress after a significant event discourages them. Sometimes it may even be a devastating occurrence that leaves the person with no hope and seemingly no way to go forward. Mentors are invaluable people in today’s world.
